Octomovers have been doing our moves for over a decade with more than a dozen moves, small scale and large scale. You will not find a better crew of guys. They take their time to wrap up all your items with care and mindfulness. I’ve never had a broken glass in the course of all these years. Regardless of glass kitchen plates or a wood dresser they are going to take the time to make sure it’s properly protected during the move. They are organized and get everything done efficiently with care. I’ve trusted them to pack up spaces when I am not even present because I know they are so mindful of my personal belongings. They have taken apart furniture multiple times for moves and you would never notice a difference. I highly recommend Octomovers.

Updating because I just used these guys to move cross-country from NYC to Denver. They were incredible every step of the way. This is the only moving company I'll ever use. You can't beat the service of Ralph and Milos in the office, and then John and Juan (our actual movers) were the nicest, most professional + efficient team I've ever worked with.Don't look any further - it's not worth shopping around because it does not get any better than this crew.Great moving service - Ralph and his team were incredibly professional and careful with all of my belongings and furniture. They also work quickly and are very reasonably priced.I stored two bedrooms worth of furniture at Octomovers storage location while in between apartments during Covid and it was very clean, safe, and great value. Amazing experience and will definitely be using Octomovers for my future moving/storage needs!

This was an amazing experience! 3 guys swooped down on my apartment where I lived for 50 years, swiftly and professionally packed my piles of stuff in boxes, wrapped up my furniture, loaded it up and drove it 150 miles! Then they carefully unloaded everything, carrying heavy furniture up a flight of stairs! A special thank you to Rodney for making me feel calm when I was so stressed out, and to Xavier and Edison who worked tirelessly, and to all of them for taking such care handling my belongings!Also thank you Milos, for being so patient with my last minute changes to the inventory! I knew when I spoke to him that this was my moving company. I highly recommend Octomovers to my fellow New Yorkers!!!!!

I have used Octomovers twice now to move my office. They are very careful and take pride in their work. The first time I used them, they came early. They could do that because I was moving things out of storage, so they didn't have to wait for access to the freight elevator. So if you want a smooth move, use them!

Great Service, reasonable pricing and true professionals! Did not try to overcharge me like other companies because it was a last minute move so big plus for that. Milos in Customer Service was great! Big THANK YOU to Rodney and Xaviar that did the actual moving. They were on time for the scheduled window time and were very helpful, courteous and so careful with our stuff, real pros and so nice! No hesitation in using their services for the next move!

Octomovers was absolutely awesome! They helped me get all of my things from my apartment quickly and my request was very last minute. They also helped get my items shipped through Fed Ex. They waited until everything was shipped made sure that I didn’t get overcharged when I tried to ship my things through fed ex and quickly repackaged my items and even made my box smaller so fed ex couldn’t charge me more. I definitely recommend their service! Thank you again guys! 10/10 !!

Going through about 10 or more moving companies, I landed on Octomovers because of their rating, reliability, flexibility, priced quote, and my luck. I am so grateful to have found them during this busy time of the year because they made my stress go from 120 to 0 with their efficient way of communication. The move itself was spectacular- efficient and items handled with professionalism and caution. Everything wrapped up tight, sturdy, and delivered to my destination with care. The best part was... my storage unit space was tighter than the amount of items that I carried over... and they magically fit everything in. They did it. If I could give Octomovers a hundred stars, I would. This is the first move of my life that I actually ... enjoyed! I've been through a few moves in my time - I was WOWED by the level of professionalism / expertise, genuine care, pure skill, and humor. I was ... kind of sorry when they rolled away! The administrative end was also truly excellent - great people: thoughtful, ethical, humane, and excellent problem-solving. I just can't say enough good things about Octomovers - I'd go out on Broadway with a sandwich sign for them.

Amazing service. My planned moving company cancelled in the last minute because they did not provide a qualified COI. Octomovers came to rescue within hours and helped me move within the same day with an efficient service. High recommend.

I cannot recommend Octomovers enough! We moved cross country. When they found out that the carriers that were supposed to do the second part of our move, could not guarantee a date of arrival, they ended up taking care of it on their own to ensure an on-time delivery. They were courteous, professional and well-priced.

I don’t have enough room here to say how much I love Octomovers.A few weeks before I moved from Manhattan to Queens, I was searching for a reputable and fair priced moving company, and I just happened to see these guys moving someone else on the same block as me. I asked for their info and they gave me the owner’s business card (Ralph).I emailed Ralph on a Saturday and within hours he got back to me cc’ing his head of sales, Mike. From the moment we began communicating to after the move was completed, Mike was in constant contact with me, making sure I had everything I needed. The price was more than fair, and was much better than any of the others I spoke to. They didn’t charge me for the two COIs I needed (which many movers do) and provided wardrobe boxes.On moving day, they said they’d be there between 9 and 10, and arrived right on time at 9! They helped move my bed and couch into a U-Haul that my dad rented as he was taking those items to his house. All of my belongings were neatly packed into the truck with care, yet they did it so fast! I was amazed.We had an extra stop to make to pick up a couch which they worked into the pricing (still, a very fair price!) before our final destination. Once we got to the new place, they put everything in the rooms where they were labeled, and again, did it so quickly yet with caution. They were all such funny and nice guys too, we had fun talking to them all day.Lastly, I noticed the next day that the cord to my TV was missing and texted one of the guys to see if they had it. The owner, Ralph, personally called me the next day to tell me he found it and then he hand delivered it himself to my new apartment. Talk about good customer service!!I will be recommending Octomovers to everyone I know as the go-to moving company to work with, and whenever it’s time for me to move again, I will 100% call these guys.Thank you, OCTOMOVERS!

I HIGHLY recommend Octomovers. I hired them for a one-bedroom move from Queens to Manhattan and the team led by Robby got the job done so quickly and efficiently. The guys were also super nice and friendly, and put a lot of thought and care into making sure NOTHING got damaged during the move. When we got to my building, we found out the lobby and elevator was closed for the day for renovation but they took charge, spoke to the building manager, and worked out a solution to get everything done. Really reasonable rates and it’s always great to support a local business that’s focused on doing quality work instead of just trying to get a job done as fast as possible. Thank you Ralph, Robby, and team and I will definitely be referring my friends to them!

The move was seamless, the movers were outstanding -- on time, efficient, pleasant, communicative, helpful. Lifted the stress out of the process. I could not have been happier. They even had the forethought to mark the China box that contained the coffee maker -- so I was all set the next day! Also, the price quoted was exactly what I was charged. These guys are the best!

I urgently needed to clear our studio for building work to commence immediately. I had to coordinate it from London and had difficulties, for all sorts of reasons - time zones, payments with a UK credit card, lack of insurance on some vendors' parts. By chance, I happened upon Octomovers on Google, rang and Milos got the forms filled out within half an hour, two removal men booked for a couple of hours later that day, for a fair price and kept me updated all the way through. I'm really impressed with them, actually, and grateful for their help. Definitely would use again.

I had a long-distance in-state move with Octomovers. The experience was great. I had to change the moving date after booking and they were very accommodating. Not only able to work with the new schedule but also kept the same original quote which was a very competitive rate. I did my own packing for the boxes. On the day of the move, they were on-time, moved everything efficiently, and packed my furnitures carefully. It was a next-day delivery. They arrived and delivered everything on-time. Set up my furnitures quickly. The whole process was so smooth and worry-free. Sales team and movers were both very friendly too.

This review is for my second time using Octomovers as I prepare to book them for a 3rd job. Ralph’s team did an excellent job moving all my possessions out of a storage unit and into a 4th floor walk up. Punctual, friendly, respectful and very mindful of what order I wanted things moved in and to what location. Nothing broken, damaged, or dirty except a couple incidental dings in some cheap metal furniture that was easy to put back into place. They were a 2-person team (usually a 3-person job) but got everything up with no stalling on the job. It was amazing. It’s always a smooth experience with them. Moving can be really stressful. I trust them to make the day a lot easier.

I requested a quote on Wednesday and after negotiating a few points, I reserved a pick-up for that Saturday. Everything on the moving end went smoothly. Octomovers team arrived at 9 am and we were moved out of our office into the storage unit by noon. We had our boxes color coded and Xavier and his team were thoughtful in organizing the loading and unloading by the colors. We will definitely be using them for the move out.
